Fondation Beyeler: Project Associate
The Fondation Beyeler is one of the internationally renowned and most visited museums in Switzerland. Located in an idyllic park in Riehen near Basel, Renzo Piano’s museum building is is considered one of the most beautiful art houses in Europe, as it harmoniously combines nature, architecture and art. art. The Fondation Beyeler is home to one of the world’s finest private collections and presents and continuously presents high-quality exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. In accordance with the wishes of its founders, it is particularly committed to communicating art to the general public public and to young people.
To support the project office extension building we are looking for immediately or according to agreement, for a limited period of 3 years, until the completion of the extension and the opening of the museum:
Project Associate 80 – 100% (m/f)
Your tasks
- Researching various user requirements of the museum for the attention of the management and architect
- Supervision and organization of test setups
- Exchange of information with planners and specialists
- Accompaniment of authority processes
- Examination of reports and plans of the architects and specialist planners
- Research, preparation and editing of dossiers for project management
- Support in the preparation and execution of workshops/meetings
- Plan management of the plans of the specialist planners and architect
- Scheduling and general correspondence
- Support with general administrative tasks
Your profile
- Professional experience in a comparable function, ideally with a general contractor or architectural firm
- Technical or commercial training
- Stylish German, knowledge of English and French an advantage
- Good user knowledge of all common office programs as well as databases
- Independent, careful and very structured way of working
- Organizational talent, good team and communication skills, flexibility and reliability
- Discretion, ability to work under time and deadline pressure
- Affinity for construction, architecture, design
